    .Tested - plays well through line output, some intermittent static when played through earphone jack. Possibly rheostat needs cleaning.  I bought this new in 1992, and it has barely been used.  I intended to use it in the car to play CDs, but it skips when jiggled, as when a car is riding over seams in pavement.  This unit is best used where it can remain still.  Radio will work fine when jogging, but a CD will skip.
