Self-made Pitched Tubular Bells

Self-made Pitched Tubular Bells. Condition is "Used".
Back in the earlier 2000's I decided to make a different  bell instrument using pitched chimes purchased from "Music of the Spheres." I decided to buy from Music of the Spheres because their bells make beautiful sounding notes. I made a chamber for steam bending four 6 foot studs of oak 2x4's to create one pair of curved 2x4 studs to support the bells to be hung from and one pair of studs underneath the bells for anchoring their strings. Each pair of 6 foot curved studs above are connected with a hinge in the center as is the pair below the bells. There  are casters on the lower stud pair so that the player can open and close the ends of the instrument as a function of the center hinges. The length in the fully open position is about 12 feet and when completely closed for transporting within a room or from room to room the length is naturally half the open length.  Several people can be assigned a note or notes to strike in which case the instrument can be left open to 12 feet, or if one person plays the instrument, the ends can be brought closer together so that the bells are more so within striking reach. I made this instrument primarily as an orchestral addition to my elementary school orchestra as well as having a fun way to teach and experience the sound of bells done in a different, larger way. There is over an octave of strung bells in a diatonic major scale, beginning with several relatively long bass bells.
