The original PU lens caps, being over 70 years old, might have slightly dried-up leather which is no longer air- and water-proof and, hence, cannot safely protect the lenses from dust and moisture. The listed caps, however, reliably protect the optics of your scope. To protect the scope even more, a scope cover should be put on.
Custom made by professional leather craftsmen. These caps are made from the correct grades of genuine leather and are stitch-per-stitch identical to the originals. The caps fit scopes tightly and protect the lenses well. The strap, that connects the caps, was stitched angle-wise in order to make putting the caps on and off more convenient. The caps were waxed in order to make them leak-proof and age-resistant so they do their job perfectly and will last forever. Length 20 cm, internal diameter 28/30 mm.
