1793 C-2 R-3 NGC VF Details Liberty Cap Half Cent Coin 1/2c

Description

NGC authenticated and graded VF Details.
Slightly glossy olive brown and chocolate with slightly lighter brown on the highpoints. Looks smooth to the unaided eye but a glass reveals very fine granularity in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris or contact marks. The best identifying defects are a small planchet void on the rim right of the date and a thin one over the R in AMERICA, both as struck. MDS with the reverse rotated 50 degrees clockwise relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation.
